What can I expect at Options Chiropractic?
Going to the Chiropractor is a new experience for many. Maybe you've heard through a friend or have done some research online. It's possible that you are just fed up with living in pain and constantly being sick and it's time to do something about it. In either case, your first visit to the chiropractor will really be about getting to know the chiropractor and discussing your health history, current condition and goals.
As with any doctor's visit, you'll start by completing our new patient paperwork. Kristen, my certified Chiropractic Assistant and office manager, will then show you around the facility. Once in the exam room, Kristen has some very important questions she will ask you before I meet with you. Upon meeting with me, we will discuss your concerns and expectations. I will also have the chance to explain my unique approach to health and healing. I will perform a full chiropactic examination which includes a biostructural exam, orthopedic and/or neurological tests, a special computerized test of the nerves to your muscles as well as your autonomic nerve system(nerves that go to organs) and most likely I'll take a few x-rays to see what the spine looks like on the inside. Once this is complete, Kristen will schedule a Report of Findings for you. This is a time when you and I will look at the results of your exam tests and X-Rays, I will give my best recommendations for restoring your health and answer any questions you may have. We will not begin care until you are completely satisfied and ready to move forward.
